How It Works
Meet & Greet
To ensure the best quality of care, we will meet you and your pup/kitty for a free meet and greet and collect two key copies. One for your sitter and one to keep in the office safe in case of emergencies.
Routine Check
To ensure your pet’s safety and happiness, we’ll go over their favorite things (belly rubs, friends, treats, ball?) and their least favorite things (squirrels, large dogs, strangers?), as well as their daily routine. We want to know everything there is to know about your pet so that he or she has the best time under our care!
Easy Booking
Once we decide on the absolute best care plan, you will be able to call us for anything you need or book directly on Power Pet Sitter.
Stay Updated
Upon arrival of the visit, your pet sitter will check in and you will receive a notification from them that your pet’s visit has started. You will receive an update and pictures of the visit upon completion of the visit to ensure you that your loved one is comfortable and safe at home.

Free Meet & Greet
This initial visit will give us a chance to get to know each other and go over important information about the proper care of your pet and home. We want to know as much information as possible in this meeting so that we can ensure the superior service that you and your furry loved one deserve. This will also give us an opportunity to answer any questions you may have. Please have an extra key available in case of emergencies. Your key will be cross coded and locked in a safe without your address or personal information on it or near it for your security.
Pet Sitting
Each pet sitting visit includes a combination of the following services based on you and your pet’s needs:
• Walk outside or potty break in back yard with waste pick-up
• In home accident check and clean up as needed
• Feeding and refreshing water
• Litter box maintenance
• Playtime
• Snuggle time
• Clean and refresh bedding of bunnies, birds or other small pets
• Light grooming, brushing, etc.
• Medication administration
• Basic home maintenance: bring in mail/newspaper, rotate blinds/lights, set alarms, accommodate trash pick-up days, water plants, etc.

Dog Walking
This service includes taking your dog(s) for a walk in your neighborhood by themselves. We do not walk your dog(s) in a group with other dogs. They will get the undivided attention they are accustomed to while on their daily walk.

Overnight In-Home Pet Sitting
Salty Dog Pet Sitting’s In-Home Overnight Pet Sitting is a premiere service that ensures that your pet will be happy, healthy and safe while you’re away from home. Being boarded in a kennel can be a very stressful experience. A good alternative is keeping your pet in their own comfortable surroundings and having one of our loving and responsible pet sitters come and stay with your dog in your own home. We will stay with your dog overnight, with a 10 PM check-in with a late night let-out and walk, breakfast, and a half-hour dog walk in the morning. Our loving pet sitter will check out between 7AM and 8AM in the morning upon completion of the visit. If you would like your pet sitter to arrive earlier or stay later than this, you may book another visit.
There is no additional charge for feedings, extra pets, medicine administration, plant watering, light housekeeping, taking in the mail or taking out the trash. If you need us to stay with your dog more than overnight, additional hours are available upon request. With Salty Dog Pet Sitting In-Home Overnight Pet Sitting, you will have the peace of mind that your dog is safely in your home being well taken care of with lots of love and attention with the bonus comfort that your home is being cared for as well.

Pet Taxi Services
We take your four-legged family members to their scheduled appointments and other errands they may need to run.

Pet Supply Delivery/ Errand Service/ Home Appointment Attendant
We are happy to help you with pet food or pet supply pick-up and delivery as well as trips to the dry cleaner, grocery shopping, post office, etc. We also offer home appointment attendant service where we will wait at your home for utility installation, scheduled home repairs or maintenance and package deliveries.

Lockout Key Service
If you are locked out of your home and we have a copy of your key on file we will come out to your residence and unlock your door.

Holidays
On the following holidays there will be an additional surcharge of $5 per visit the day before, day of and day after the major holiday:
New Years Eve, New Years Day, Easter, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day.
100% of this charge goes to your sitter as a “Thank you” for spending time away from their families and working during the holidays.
Late Bookings
There is a $5 late fee for any day before or same-day requests. 100% of this fee goes to your sitter as a “Thank you” for the accommodations. Due to our pre-scheduled sit requests, our sitters must make arrangements within their schedules and our current scheduled clients. Salty Dog Pet Sitting utilizes our pet sitters at full potential. This fee is in place to make up for extra attention that your babies require.
Referral Credit
Receive a complimentary pet sitting visit credit to your account when you refer a customer who books service with us. Please make sure your referral mentions your name. There is also a spot on the back of our business card to put your name in for referral credit when you give out our cards.
